If you go back fifty years, everybody thought we were going to see spectacular improvements in transport, and we haven’t. However, they didn’t anticipate that we were going to have such spectacular improvements in communication. So communication has accelerated much faster than we expected; transport has gone much more slowly. I think we’re on the brink of a biomedical revolution that is going to be quite extraordinary.
