As a team leader, you want to protect the members of your team from harm, while still making sure they can function well together. To make this happen, you need to encourage healthy, constructive conflict whenever you see the potential for it. When conflict does arise, allow your team to resolve it for themselves, stepping in to intervene only if the debate becomes personal or insulting
