In a followup of Cover Your Tracks, young adult Caelyn has been on her own for two years now, on the verge of freedom from her past, in belief that Garret is locked away for good and Kimberly has moved on. Things couldn't have gone better for her. There were people by her side, a loving family, and a home she had found. But after Garret is set free from jail under unfair and biased conditions, Caelyn begins to realize they will not give up until they get what they want. She begins to lose hope once more as her past comes back one last time in order to finish what has started.
