This novel is a light, comical way to reflect how our capitalist society works. If you don't have any use for society your disposable. The story is funny, witty, and the writing amazing. Definitely one of the best books I've read this year.
Good for her.
What if you happiness in live was to be a convenience store worker? Could you handle the criticism from society? This book highlight the possibility of been happy with little when the system tells you to go big.
Furukura's pursuit of meaningful life. Her character reminds me of Garis Lurus's main character.
What a unique story. I enjoyed reading it though.
Relatable!
The book is very weird in a sense. It is a grotesque description of our society, which I can perfectly understand, but the main character is represented in this book as a convenience store species and not a human kind, that made me kind of uncomfortable.
very unusual perspective on the society and our role in it. this convenience store could be in any country. I'm just a bit disappointed by quickly collapsed final. it's logical, just too abrupt.
A book from the japanese world. Has a slight tinge of macabre, but mostly I feel the writer’s jabbing at the society for its judging norm.
A short, interesting read.
