Bulge bracket is the term used for the largest investment banks in the world. This includes the three firms known as the “superbanks” that offer all banking services:
J.P. Morgan,
Citigroup, and
Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
The other bulge bracket investment banks are Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, UBS, Credit Suisse, Deutsche, and, more recently, Barclays.
