    Power food makes you feel strong and energized. Fruit. Veggies. Nuts. Lean protein. Whole grains. High-quality dairy. Healthy fats, like olive oil, coconut oil, or a dollop of organic butter. Power food is nutritious and leaves you feeling “powered up” rather than sluggish. Power food is stuff that’s made fresh. Stuff that’s minimally processed. Stuff that doesn’t come out of a frozen food box or a plastic sleeve. Real, actual food that’s full of vitamins, minerals, and all the nutrients that your body needs to function at its best.
    Pleasure food is not particularly nutritious, but it’s decadent and fun! Pleasure food includes alcoholic beverages, candy, cake, cookies, pastries, soda pop, milkshakes, chips, French fries—basically, any food that’s purely just for pleasure.
