The Bible is worth becoming excited about because it is so relevant to everything that happens between Sundays. Leave mediocrity behind and move into a cutting edge walk with God. Are you sick of living a mediocre life? Leave mediocrity behind and move into a cutting edge walk with God. Years ago, Clayton's marriage almost fell apart, mainly because his ministry as an evangelist became all consuming. There was little time for a relationship with God or with his wife. He was a busy preacher, but was cold as ice in his heart. It was one of the blackest times of his life. then the Holy Spirit brought him to a place of utter brokenness and deep repentance. He discovered the simple fact of Jesus living inside him and that all here is in God was his to enjoy…What did Clayton learn because of his difficult time? Read the Bible consistently….God's Word spoke to specific situations in his life at just the right time. He received peace in troubled times and a direction in confusing times. It brought healing to His marriage and family. The enemy, Satan, does not give up easily. His constant strategy is to keep you, from enjoying the peace and confidence of walking with God. Without doubt, keeping you from the prayerful meditative and obedient study of God's word is the only way you can grow in your union with Christ. Through planned strategy the enemy comes against God's people (2 Cor.2:11;Eph.6:11). In this book Clayton Dougan shares illustrations from personal experience to relate the book to real living. He shows how developing good and godly habits is well within the grasp of the busiest reader and makes it clear where to find the added help. It is our earnest prayer that through this book you will experience the sheer delight that comes from the discovery-or rediscovery-of God's Word. Clayton Dougan born and raised in central Scotland, Clayton began a career in the banking world. Then following some training at the Bible Training Institute, Glasgow he and his wife Isobel were married and joined “Counties” when Clayton became their evangelist for East Sussex, England. They served there until 1984 when they moved to Canada and are now based in Victoria, B.C. They have two married sons and nine grandchildren. Clayton has travelled internationally preaching the gospel and teaching God's word in a wide variety of situations.
