    Salah satu buku terbaik yang pernah saya baca tentang apa yang terjadi di dalam sebuah pernikahan. Bahwa, tidak ada yang tahu apa yang sesungguhnya terjadi di balik pintu. Kadang bahkan salah satu dari pasangan pun tidak tahu.

    Lotto dan Mathilde adalah pasangan ideal di mata semua orang. Mereka menikah di usia awal 20an dan semua orang menyangka bahwa mereka tidak akan bertahan. Mungkin, salah satu dari mereka akan berselingkuh lalu mereka pun bercerai.

    Penulisannya brilian dan judul bukunya, Fates and Furies, sungguh menggambarkan karakter kedua tokohnya. Sungguh, buku ini membuat banyak buku lain yang saya baca tentang rahasia di balik pernikahan menjadi kisah yang generik da pucat.
