Brian is a mountain of a man, well over six-feet tall and chiseled like a Greek God statue. Even though he's a damn good Deputy, his loud-mouth and boisterous attitude get him into trouble at times. He likes women, in fact, the more, the merrier. He's never been in a serious relationship, and he plans on staying that way.
Charlotte is a cop, who's already buried a husband and has two kids to care for. She spends her off time with her kids and her mom, who helps around the house due to her crazy schedule. She feels stuck in some weird limbo between being a cop and a single mom. Basically, she's just too busy taking care of others to deal with her own feelings.
After these two meet, Charlotte is nervous at the task of taming an alpha male like Brian. Brian wonders if a woman who already has a family could really be “it” for him.
Arrested Soul is an exceptionally well written story that takes the reader on a crazy journey. There are plot twists you'll never see coming, and a seriously slow burn you'll be begging to ignite yourself. The twists and turns as well as the secondary characters are so endearing, you'll be begging for more.
This must-read series is highly recommended for adults only and is sure to become a bestseller.
