Dragon Lover, Mage Husband

Lewis loses the love of his life five years ago, only to find her again while attending a wedding — hers. She is marrying a man many years her senior… someone who obviously frightens her. He watches as she walks down the aisle and wishes he could intervene, but he is compelled to stay his hand.

Dragons love fiercely— possessively. He wasn't going to let her go, even if she belongs to another.

He will make her his even if it's the last thing he does.

He is not prepared for how difficult that is. Rin's husband is not just a simple man. Wren Vassal is the most powerful user of magic the world has ever seen.

Rin is torn between two impossible choices. Her husband loves her, even as he admits that he had married her because there are things that he wishes to gain from their union. Lewis is wholly devoted to her and doesn’t care that she belongs to another. He has waited for her all these years. What is she to do when both men are shameless in their claiming of her?

~~~~~ Excerpt ~~~~~
“You look flushed,” he whispered close to her ear so that they would not be able to be eavesdropped by the dancers who had swayed close to them.
She forgot how to breathe. “I— I-" she stuttered, but she couldn't form the words. She didn't even know where to begin.
“Relax, my love,” he hummed, his grip on her tight enough that he was leaving bruises the size of his fingers on her skin. “I know what I'm getting myself into when I married you,” he said. “I thought you would have at least been kind enough to give me the first taste, hmm?” his hold on her was punishing now.
To the casual observer, they looked like a newly-wed couple who couldn't keep their hands from one another, his arms wound around her torso so tightly that her feet barely touched the ground, his body so much larger than hers that she was fully eclipsed by him, just a flash of red wrapped in a sea of blue.
“Shh… No need to be so panicked. I'm not going to hurt you,” he reassured her and though his tone remained calm and collected, his hands on her body was starting to suffocate.
“Ah, ah,” she gasped, pushing her palms against his chest.
For a human mage, he was remarkably strong. Then again, a dragon's power laid not in its physical strength. She could hurt him if she truly wanted to, but she didn't want to. There was pain in his words that he was dishonest about displaying, that he shielded by acting cruel. He had never hurt her before.
“I'm sorry,” she whimpered, eyes filling with tears that immediately soaked into his suit. It even smelled expensive.
He leaned away from her, finally allowing her to catch her breath and removing the pressure on her body. He shifted his hands until they were lower on her body, pulling her up until his hips were pushed into her body. He was already hard and the feeling of his arousal pressing so solidly against her belly made her skin warm. “Ahh, how could I stay mad at you?” he drawled, the breeze of hot breath hitting her sensitive ear.
