Persuasion

honestly, i decided to pick this book after i’d seen the trailer for the new netflix adaptation. i’ve never heard a lot about this novel, and i was quite prejudiced before i started reading it. it’s said to be one of the best novels austen ever wrote, but there was only one question on my mind – what about pride&prejudice then?

well, now i’m taking my words back because this one really will be one of my favourite of austen’s novels so far. i would say, it’s also one of the most romantic ones of hers. seriously, that letter of captain wentworth with confession of his feelings to anne deeply pierced my heart. it was so tender and yet passionate.

Not as popular as P&P, but still a lovely story ☺️
