Teenage prodigy Jim Williams received a patent before a high school diploma. But, rather than have a future, he would become a street person hearing voices. He fled to living the streets to escape being the only named heir to a trust. Years later and back inside, he would recover from an assault induced coma, the streets, and the voices. Afterward, in helpless outrage, he began writing about the attack by unknown assailants, only to honor all the people who came to his aid. ALL MY FRIENDS WERE ME demonstrates: No one needs to be greater than who they already are.
