“We'll be back in time for dinner as usual.” Eric told her, “And then get out of your hair down at the pack bar for a while. We'll have earned a few beers by then!” he grinned at his brothers.
“Seconded!” Connor put in.
“Motion carried!” Chase affirmed.
“Bloody men!” Fern huffed, “I really wish that you would all find mates that would keep you in line! You'll be laughing on the other side of your faces then!”
“Mates!” Connor exclaimed “Not bloody likely! What do I want a mate for? I'm young, free and single and intend on remaining that way!”
Chase just looked thoughtful for a moment and then carried on eating, while Eric cleared his plate away and stood at the kitchen sink looking wistfully out of the window into space.
She hadn't meant to but when Fern made an unintentional wish for her brothers to find their mates it caused chaos of the worst possible kind for them! Not only did their mates appear almost immediately but they turned out to be Witches, the very thing they hated the most! And as if that wasn't bad enough, there was also a rogue wolf and a vampire on the loose too!
The only question was just who was going to kill who first?
