An increasingly jittery young woman decides to see a psychiatrist about what she considers to be a complex emotional problem. She is worried by the fact that she seems to derive sexual pleasure from inflicting pain upon herself and hopes to find a cure, but instead her doctor teaches her to embrace her sexuality.
