Author Dan Cohen, founder of Danny Macaroons, rose to fame selling his delicious macs in New York City restaurants, cafes, and food fairs by offering the beloved treats in varieties no one had ever thought of before: Guava, Eggnog, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Bourbon, Pistachio . . . the list goes on and on. It turns out these macaroons are easy to make at home, too. No fancy equipment or techniques necessary, and the classic recipe requires just five ingredients. Even non-bakers can make super-tasty macaroons at home, although more adventurous people might want to try whipping up some Chocolate-Banana-Nut or Tiramisu Macaroon Sandwiches.
