Who is John Locke
John Locke was an English philosopher and physician who is largely considered to be one of the most significant intellectuals of the Enlightenment period. He is also commonly referred to as the “father of liberalism.” Locke, who is considered to be one of the earliest British empiricists and who followed in the footsteps of Francis Bacon, is also considered to be of similar significance to the philosophy of social contract.
