I am in love with my best friend. However, I cannot tell her because she is in a relationship; an abusive relationship. I am always there for her due to the fact that she does not deserve to go through what she is going through alone, even though she does not deserve go to through it at all. But, what do I know?
Before I know it, we are hooking up and in a relationship. It is everything that I ever wanted. Until it isn't. For no reason, Alisha leaves me and I am left to pick up the pieces of the life that I created with her. Thankfully, it is not that hard. But, I always thought that Alisha was going to be my last.
Whenever I see her again, old feelings resurface, but I know that I am not allowed to have her again; at least not at this time. Maybe sometime in the future I can have her. But, for now, I am going to enjoy the new adventures that life throws at me.
