Test this out for yourself, the next time you are feeling a bit sluggish, take a brief walk around the block and see what happens.

Being open to learning new things about what works for your body and spirit is being in the flow. It’s being present and staying away from a life on autopilot (same place, same thing over and over again).

Flow is being open to the constant “upgrades” that come with life experience and wisdom.

Being in a state of flow means you are open to change and willing to try new things that bring fresh energy and interests into your life.

So plan regular rest into each and every day. Then set realistic expectations on what you can accomplish each day. You will feel an increase in the quality and quantity of your energy. If you accomplish some of your goals in a day, be grateful and give yourself a pat on the back instead of focusing solely on what was not accomplished. This is how you avoid burn out and love your life.

If you make time for resting and actually let things go for a bit, you will feel the difference. I like to follow the rule of “When you work, really work. When you rest, really rest.” Both will enhance each other.

Allow fresh thinking and energy to flow through your life. Stir the pot a little. When you stir the pot you don’t need all new ingredients, you just mix things up a bit. Life is movement, stagnation is the start of deterioration and death. Be alive and inspire other’s to do the same.
