to rescue education from the influence of the ruling class.this is something again i find interesting, we learn about capitalism, ruling class ideology etc in sociology (and i wouldnt know half the stuff i do today without it) yet we have made no progress towards communism.

i wonder what Karl would think of today's overly capitalistic society and how most proletariats dont even have false class consciousness anymore but as a collective we dont really do anything (even myself)
