“On Anything” by Hilaire Belloc is a series of essays written by the Franco-English writer, poet, and satirist published in 1910. The subjects of the essays vary widely, as the title of the compilation might lead one to believe. However, they are all witty and intriguing, no matter the topic. Belloc was known for his unique and satirical writing style which is perhaps best demonstrated in these essays than in any of the other examples of his work.
