“Mother Fracker” is a cautionary tale straight out of today's headlines. Imagine fracking for natural gas showing up one day right next door in a place like pristine, rural Rappahannock County, Va. That's what happens to Tip Tyler, a former environmental journalist living off the grid working his family's Piedmont Virginia orchard. Comely engineer Roxx Bleigh seems to be right in the middle of it all as she cavorts in the hills and hollers with Tip's pal, rancher Provo Starke. Bullets fly and earthquakes rattle the nerves of the locals, but there's always time for a locavore meal, a fine Cabernet Franc and some frisky sex.
