This ebook provides an approach to the resolution of runners plantar fasciitis based on improved body awareness and the dynamic nature of fascia. FitOldDog’s bout of runner’s plantar fasciitis-induced heel and foot pain resulted from his tendency to lean forward whilst standing, compounded by a tense hamstring triggering calf muscle spasms and tightening of the related fascia. How would a boot or sock help with that? They didn’t? Curing my sore heel enabled me to qualify for the Boston Marathon – what a blast! Wouldn’t you like to do that – you might? Existing products didn’t fix my plantar fasciitis. An arch support will take the load off of the plantar fascia and ease the discomfort, but it won’t fix the underlying cause, which is our strategy for long-term freedom from heel and foot pain. If you don’t fix it you might have to give up running for good, or worse still you may tear your plantar fascia, which is excruciatingly painful. As a dancer (Rebecca) and Ironman triathlete (FitOldDog), finding and resolving injuries before they impact our lives is what our body awareness work is all about. There is an optional complimentary video, which can be purchased separately via FitOldDog's video store. The link is provided in this e-book. Just fix your plantar fasciitis now with a little educated effort and run for the rest of your life!
