A race for victory may just turn into a race for life itself.
William Lucky stumbles into the chance of a lifetime when he meets racing car owner, Mr. Lovitz, and wins the most prestigious racing event of the year 1924, the Indy 500 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Mr. Lovitz's underage daughter, Nina, has issues of her own. Pregnant as a result of being a victim of a treacherous crime and unable to confine in her emotionally fragile mother, she runs away from home.
