Greek Mythology

Fate operates independently of the gods. It’s an objective entity without any personality and, seemingly, without any agenda. It certainly acts without explanation.

Aeneas, the founder of the Roman race. His father was a mortal called Anchises and his mother was Aphrodite.

Achilles, the greatest warrior fighting on the Greek side in the Trojan War. Achilles’ father, Peleus, was mortal and his mother, Thetis, was a sea nymph.

We call them ‘Olympians’ because they inhabit Mount Olympus in northern Greece. Like the current members of the House of Windsor, they constitute a dynasty.
