The end was romantic enough to save the book. But the heroine is selfish, self centered, reckless, and a total witch-b. The author throws all blame on the Hero, as well as "character growth". It was gross how the author tried to make you feel that the heroine was in the right and most men are horrible and controlling. The heroine almost got herself and others killed numerous times. I'm glad that the Hero and heroine did his "character growth" act together, it was sweet. But, I really hated how the author favorably compared love and hate as going hand in hand with a happy marriage. If you can pretend that the heroine had real, actual character growth then you will probably like it.
Love it!!! ❤❤❤
