Nowadays things have changed. Some say it is the liberal agenda; others believe it is because you can no longer get your hands on good quality wall-paper. Either way if you look in any school classroom you will see copybooks – geography, history and science – all tragically going uncovered.

So every summer, when they finished wall-papering the front room, they used the remainder to wall-paper all the school copybooks for the coming year.
