The parables deliver a scientific message that is a statement of what we, the human species, must do in order to survive and thrive. Good stewardship is mandatory. Bad stewardship is lethal. All information in the book is a direct examination of the parables, not what came later after Jesus died. Although it all looks like a moral lesson or a moral and religious philosophy, the scientific content is matter of fact, and Jesus asked his disciples NOT to start a new church or new religious institution.
