The Comforts of Madness

THE COMFORTS OF MADNESS is the first-person narrative of Peter, a mute, catatonic psychiatric patient who is selected for a controversial process of rehabilitation. The aim of this intensive treatment programme is to try and shift the most chronic mental patients out of the care system and thus reduce the cost of its provision.
