One More clean Up is inspired by the actual exploits by the author during a period of residency in Alaska. In the nineteen-eighties he and a very good friend: flew, hiked, camped and prospected for gold in a remote area of eastern Alaska. Anderson's latest book: One More Clean Up, is fiction only as it is based in the future and flying by powered parachutes is now a viable option for accessing remote locations. Alaska is still mostly wilderness and there are still vast areas where man has not set foot. Needless to say, there is still placer gold to be sought in many places and adventurous people will go to great lengths to find it. Anderson describes it the way it was and realistically the way it will be in the foreseeable future.
