The best times for magik are during waxing or full moons in your sign. Worst times are when the moon is passing between signs.

If you incorporate some knowledge of the qualities of the planets and the signs of the zodiac in planning your working spells you will have greater results. Being aware of the qualities of each sign will help you to choose the best time for any given spell.

It is a gradual process. During the short period when the moon reaches the point when it is in neither one sign nor the other, unexpected things occur and plans tend to go awry. For that reason, it is best not to perform magikal rites during these times because it is more likely to go wrong.

There are times though, when the moon is in between two signs of the zodiac when it is known as being ‘void of course’. This is not a good time to perform any kind of magik that demands a certain outcome.

As you become more aware of the movement and influence of the moon and the planets you will realise that when the moon is in particular planets or signs of the zodiac your magik can be more focused or empowered.

Banishing rituals Banishing rituals are performed when the moon is reducing or waning. In a banishing ritual you would send away or repel situations. You would banish illness, disease, anxiety, threats, jealousy, poverty, and loneliness.

The waxing moon is the best time to invoke good health, recovery from illness or strife, peace of mind and contentment, protection, romance, and career opportunities.

The word witch comes from the words wise or wisdom and originally witches were called the wise ones. Witches are healers who study natural remedies and the influences of the cycles of moon and the planets. Witches seek to harm none, knowing the energy they send out comes back threefold.

whatever you put out will come back to you threefold. In other words, if you send out good wishes or words then three times that amount will come back to you. If you send out bad wishes or words then the same will apply: three times that amount will come back to you.
