The Quisling is a contemporary action thriller that follows the story of psychiatrist Dr. Zack Scarlatto who becomes involved with a volatile and violent Mexican drug cartel. It’s dangerous to be even remotely associated with the gang, and to make matters worse, Zack falls in love with a woman named Maria, whose husband Carlos is uncovered as a traitor of the organization and has disappeared. Zack knows who—and more importantly, where—Carlos (the “quisling”) is. As such, Zack is a valuable player in the gang’s effort to locate and kill him.
Navigating a world of abuse, suicide, dysfunctional personalities, and organized violence, Zack must decide if the woman he has fallen in love with is worth risking his career for—and if it’s indeed even possible to build a life together in the dark shadow of crime he has come to inhabit.
