A Marines personal experiences in Vietnam while serving as an infantry squad leader with the 3rd Marine Division. Serving from September 1967 through October 1968 including the infamous Tet Offensive of 68. This story describes the way the Marine Infantry lived in the shoreline villages as well as the dense jungles of the north. From training in the United States, jungle warfare training in Okinawa to the day to day life on the ground in Vietnam this story is my personal account of my life there as well as the not so nice greeting when we got home.
