Faulkner has a unique creative process involving extensive experimentation and exploration. Her paintings are primarily made using acrylic paint, gels, and modeling paste, and she uses a palette knife to apply multiple layers of texture onto a blank canvas. This technique creates color and temperature shifts while increasing consistency towards the front or bottom of the canvas.
