And, The Lesbian Review has named it one of the 10 best friends to lovers romance novels. This title is a fully-involved romance novel, clocking in at about 500 well-written, well-conceived pages. From its opening paragraph, the reader is greeted with rich detail, flowing internal dialogue, witty humor, jagged verbal jousting, and a joyous intellectual tete-a-tete—not just between the two lesbian protagonists, but also the quirky friends, family, and townspeople.
