Faith to Persevere

Visiting an Irish castle proved nearly fatal for twenty-five English actress Gertrude Thomason. Determined to uncover why the castle captivated her, Thomason underwent past-life regressions. During each regression, Thomason revisited the life of Gertrude Chapman, an English Protestant lady, who reluctantly moved with her parents Tobias and Shannan, along with her siblings Rachelle and Wade. Osmond Clement also moved from England to Ireland with his sister Ysanne Gareth, plus her daughters Verity and Myrna. The Clement-Gareths planned to escape their emotional and financial tragedies after Ysanne lost her husband to pneumonia. Meeting the dashing Protestant English bachelor Oswin Rees gave Gertrude a new perspective of life and answered her parents’ prayers. Gertrude and Oswin were instantly attracted to each other and commenced a relationship that almost fails after the couple separated. During the separation, Gertrude had an epiphany that launches a journey of self-realization and self-acceptance. Once Gertrude completed her journey, she and Oswin rekindled their relationship and became engaged.

Meanwhile, eight Irish nationalists plotted a rebellion against the influx of enemy foreigners. Against the religious convictions of their co-conspirators, Derry Devlin, Briciu Kavanaugh, and Teamhair Callaghan braved temperamental weather to secretly visit an anonymous elderly woman, who cast a spell that would expel English ex-patriots living in Ireland. Afterward, the rebels launch their attack. The Clement-Gareths lost their manor, and Gertrude was stricken with an illness. While the illness consumed Gertrude, Thomason failed to awaken from a regression. With no cure in sight, both families found themselves testing their faith for a miraculous recovery.
