Dumont La Forge held an associate professor position at a small collage on Erudition. Here he taught Ancient Technology, Nanotechnology, Nano-robotics, and Latin. He applied to the Twin suns system for a grant to do research on Ancient technology to finish his doctorate degree. His application was approved and he left his teaching job to venture forth to the Twin Suns system. Just before he was to depart he received a message from the elders of the Twin Sun system, telling him that due to unforeseen circumstances, his request to do research in the Twin Suns system has been denied at that time. However, a position was available to do research in one of their expeditions. They offered him the opportunity to go with one of our teams as an authority of robotics. He took the offer and ended up in the middle between the ancients and who they were at war with.
