Animal and test tube studies have shown that probiotics enhance the body’s ability to produce IgA and IgG antibodies. Lactobacillus was found to improve the body’s production of IgM in response to a rotavirus vaccine, and another study found that antibody response to a typhoid vaccination was improved with the same probiotic bacteria
