The Bible says to “pray without ceasing” yet as believers we are set on “ceasing to pray”. Not praying is equivalent to driving without headlights in the dark. Most headlights come on automatically unless, at some unsuspecting moment, they are turned off manually. Thus, there is an assumption that the light is on until other drivers start flashing to indicate YOUR lights are off!
