This book is a compilation of monographs on mineral resources compiled by The Mineral Resources Committee over the past fifteen years. These monographs were prepared either by members of the Scientific and Technical Staff of the Imperial Institute or by external contributors. They are intended to give a general account of the occurrences and commercial utilization of the more important minerals, particularly in the British Empire.
