… My own reactions do not often stem from a scientific analysis of gases and temperatures that affect the weather. From what I gathered over lunch, each of us has a perspective of what this means for the future, created from our own individual histories of living in this world. This news is harsh indeed, yet every person on Earth has come to know the warnings presented by thousands of scientists in every conceivable format, over the last fifty years. Our news is not a surprise to any person of our species. Even small children in Third World countries know about global warming and the resulting climate change.
… How did man arrive here? What caused us to knowingly accept such an outcome? What would you go back and change? What do you see in our future?
