Milly is a helpful, caring, highly moral dog. She is an excellent influence on other dogs, adores children and is trusted by everyone. But it is rumored that she has a serious problem: stealing tennis balls.
Milly insists that she does not steal. Her dad and everyone else believe otherwise. In a huff, she runs off to law school to learn to argue. She returns with a law degree—America’s first female canine attorney.
But a German shepherd police dog arrests her on tennis ball stealing charges and brings her to court where she faces a sympathetic miniature schnauzer judge. She argues well and wins her case.
This is a story for clever children who love clever dogs.
