This issue of the journal and its sister (14.04) brings together sixteen contributions from scholars from a variety of perspectives around the topic of Women & Collections. The articles present the work of independent scholars, researchers, and practitioners alongside those situated in academy as well as others engaged in work at collecting institutions including the Getty, Natural History Museum (London), Imperial War Museums, Liverpool Museums, and National Museum Wales. Contributors hail from the United States, England, Wales, Italy, and Egypt, thereby bringing together the work from three continents.
