This book was just . . . EVERYTHING. I can't believe my journey with Harry Potter has now ended. I absolutely LIVED THIS BOOK! I will most definitely think about this book for as long as I live because it was JUST THAT MAGNIFICENT, the world of Harry Potter, is incomparable.

it’s obviously not a piece of news for me – some books need a specific time to come to you, so you could have a chance to appreciate it to the fullest. harry potter books came to my life twenty four years after the release of the first instalment. and yeah, it took me a long time to recognise a treasure.

well, i do remember how i was completely dispassionate in harry potter’s stories when i was a kid. i tried books, i tried movies, but i couldn’t force myself into the narrative. i keep considering that it wasn’t mine until .. until the past december when i watched all the movies for less than a week. eight months later i've finished the reading. i can’t believe it’s over for me and i literally don’t know how to go on reading.

i am fairly astonished by the sorry itself, by rowling’s writing and skills of imagination – it has been so detailed and thought-out narrative. i’m surprised how tiny details given throughout all of the books just formed into one comprehensive and full-scale story at the very end.

do i regret that i'd missed this story as i was a kid? absolutely, not at all. the series is not suited only for children, everyone could find something for themselves, even years later. what i do regret is that i started at first with the movies and only then switched to the books. i'd rather have it the other way around. the books themselves are more profound, intense and deeper in the writing than the scripts of the movies. i could give it a go to my own imagination. it would probably change a lot - especially, my emotions after revealing some secrets and definitely my attitude towards some characters if i had read the books first.

and my last word is, these series are so much worth reading that i can’t wait until one day i start reading them again.
