Special diet - Some foods can aggravate symptoms of
hyperactivity include eggs, milk, wheat, caffeine and sugar. Foods
with additives and colorings should also be avoided. Diet should
carefully be monitored to check for and any eliminate any food (or
element in food preparation) that exacerbate the symptoms of ADHD.

Yoga and meditation - These activities help to relax the mind
and body, and may assist in alleviating the symptoms of ADHD.

Herbal supplements - There are claims with Chinese formulas
that use gingko, ginseng and hypericum and other herbal remedies
may help to treat ADHD, but such claims need to be well researched
before use.

Mineral or vitamin supplements - If a person is deficient or
oversupplied with certain mineral or supplement, it can cause the
certain symptoms to appear. Such imbalances can be tested for, and
corrected with proper mineral or vitamin supplements. However there
is no supplement yet known that would directly affect ADHD.

Essential fatty acids - Omega 3 fatty acids are essential for the
brain to work properly, omega-3 oils are usually available plentiful in seafood.

Glyconutrients - It refers to eight sugars collectively believed
alleviate ADHD symptoms by assisting in the production of an
essential compound called "glycoprotein".
