Life is like a road. There are long and short roads; smooth and rocky roads; crooked and straight paths. In our life many roads would come our way as we journey through life. There are roads that lead to a life of single blessedness, marriage, and religious vocation. There are also roads that lead to fame and fortune on one hand, or isolation and poverty on the other. There are roads to happiness as there are roads to sadness, roads towards victory and jubilation, and roads leading to defeat and disappointment.

Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”

We win some, we lose some, but the important thing is that we learn, and from this knowledge, further spiritual growth is made possible.

Ellen DeGeneres once said that if you're not doing something that you want to do, then you don't really want to do it.

And always remember the quote from Abraham Lincoln; he says that, "Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be."

To be happy is relatively easy; just decide to be a happy person.

Your thoughts can't hold any power over you if you don't judge them. If you notice yourself having a negative thought, detach from it, witness it, and don't follow it.

We can still see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny. And if it's a train at the end of the tunnel, take it for a ride and see what makes the world go round!
