Life as a thief is lonely and full of treasures. Trillium learned how to run, hide and snitch before she was ten. But a captured thief is worth less than a hamster in a pet store, and that is the fate Trillium fears most. Little people aren’t favored in the human world.
The discovery of the carousel only makes things worse. Trillium learns that not all humans are trappers, and stealing can hurt the thief as well as the victim. Her new friend is fading fast, however, and Trillium must decide whether to be honest about her thievery or take off with her earnings … before it’s too late.
