Brent is a typical boy who wants to be loved and accepted. He is very close to his uncle and loves him dearly. Brent's parents seem to dislike him for whatever reason. Brent tries hard to hide his bruised and battered body from watchful eyes, but this is the 1960's and 1970's and parents can get away with a lot. But there is more to Brent's story. How does he cope?
