About the author:
Dr. Shafiqul Islam Bhuyan did his M.sc in Botany from Gauhati University and Ph.D from North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology, Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh. He is presently the Assistant Professor & Head of Department of Botany, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Adarsha Mahavidyalaya, Behali, Assam. He published 33 research papers in national international journals, 5 books, 7 book chapters and 3 full papers in proceeding. Guide two PhD students. He also serves as Editor and Reviewer of many Scientific Journals.
