Diona and a Dalmatian

This is BS: “I longed and prayed to give your father a son, darling, but you mean so much to him because although you are a woman he can talk to you. You understand each other in the same way as you would have been able to do had you been a boy.”

Although you are a woman??? That's western civilization, who idolized the Greeks according to Cartland, yet sees being a female as a handicap. What utter garbage. I get that Cartland loved strong heroes and feminine heroines but she makes the women out to be completely incapable, often choosing to runaway from home. One has to wonder how much truth there is to the female members of the aristocracy
