Nicholas Spencer has been many things during his two hundred and fifty-five years on earth: a nobleman, courtier, traitor, and now a lowly shop assistant at a used book store in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he lives with the rest of his pack, the mysterious Malcolm and the seldom present Dee.
